The PanelDue is a full colour, touch screen controller for Duet and other 3D printer electronics. The design is by David Crocker (DC42 on the RepRap forums). We source the control boards from David in bulk and then add the 4.3 inch, 5 inch or 7 inch display, cables and test each kit.

The images are taken by David Crocker. Some show the board on the bottom, one with the control board on the side. Some may still show V1.1 but we are currently supplying Version 2, the latest release of the board. The display we supply has the control board on the side rather than the bottom.

Provided: 4.3 inch 480x272 display

Also compatible with: ITDB02-4.3 from Itead Studio. Also tested: ITSB02-3.2WD (fully supported in firmware) and ITDB02-5.0 (firmware not yet optimised for this display).

Power requirement 5V power from host 3D printer
Supply current Board only: 35mA
With ITDB02-3.2WD display: 130mA
With ITDB02-4.3 display: 200mA
With alternative 4.3 inch display: 280mA
With ITDB02-5.0 display: 300mA
Interface 2-wire serial interface with 3.3V signal level (5V tolerant input). An external pullup resistor can be added to improve noise margin when driving 5V printer electronics.
Processor On-board ATSAM3S2B processor with ARM Cortex M3 core, 128Kb flash memory and 32K RAM
Options Pads provided for making connections to the SD card holder on the back of the display.
Pads provided for 3 uncommitted outputs from the on-board processor
